Wyckoff , NJ

OVERVIEW

Wyckoff's moniker of a "Garden Town in a Garden State" could not be more true with its lovely tree-lined streets and various parks, ponds and open space. Located just 27 miles from New York City, it feels more like a country community than a suburb of New York City.

Wyckoff's many parks include, the James A. McFaul Environmental Center, which is a wildlife sanctuary owned and operated by Bergen County Parks; the Russell Farms Community Park, which includes a recreational trail and educational arboretum; the Gardens of Wyckoff which is a 12.8 acre nature sanctuary; and Zabriskie Pond Park, which is home to Wyckoff's annual fishing derby. In addition to wonderful open space, Wyckoff is home to many historic homes, as well as modern and updated properties.
